A daily series on autopilot
Write one idea and Slice makes and posts a new episode every day.
An automation is a daily series that runs itself. You write one idea; every day Slice makes a new episode on a fresh topic and posts it to your account.
Set one up
- First connect the account you want to post to (see Post to your social accounts).
- Open Automations from the menu.
- Write your idea — for example, “a short story about a famous adventurer, never the same one twice”.
- Choose the account, what time to start posting, and how often (once to four times a day).
- Optional: pick a visual style or one of your characters to star in every episode.
- Tap Automate.
How it works
- Each episode is made a day before it posts, so you can watch, edit or delete it first. Do nothing and it posts by itself.
- Every episode picks a new subject, and what got the most views helps choose the next ones.
- Each episode uses credits like any other video. If you run out, the series pauses instead of posting something broken — top up and it carries on.
- Tap Pause any time, or Delete to stop it. Videos already made stay in your slices.
Tip: Turn on auto top-up so your series never pauses — see Credits, packs and auto top-up.
