Make your first video
Type an idea, tap one button, and get a finished video in a few minutes.
You only need one thing: an idea. Slice writes the script, makes the pictures and video clips, records a voice, adds captions and picks music — all by itself.

Step by step
- Tap New slice (or the + at the top on your phone).

- Choose Animated video so every scene moves. (Still images use about half the credits.)

- Optional: pick a Visual style — Photoreal, Pixar 3D, Anime and more — or leave it on Auto and Slice chooses.
- Tap Generate video.
What happens next
You'll see each step tick off: Writing script & style, Generating scenes, Rendering video, then Ready. It usually takes a few minutes. You can close the page — we'll email you when it's done.
Tip: Already have a script? Paste it in, scene by scene, with what should be on screen and what should be said. Slice follows it closely.
Two handy switches
- Who speaks — A narrator reads the story. The characters makes people talk on camera (see Talking characters).
- Voiceover and Captions — both on by default. Turn either off if you don't want it.
